The fee is refundable to teachers from Economics Arkansas partner school systems upon successful completion of the workshop.
Teaching students financial planning today can help promote their success in passing life’s financial management tests tomorrow. This workshop will make the connection between the economic way of thinking and financial topics, including saving, investing, the stock market and debt management. Economists and guest speakers will share their knowledge and expertise in the economic and financial disciplines. Interactive, grade-level appropriate lessons and activities will be presented in curriculum sessions by award-winning economic educators. Student-focused technology applications will be presented.
• Appropriate for Pre-K-12 educators in all content areas.
• Teaching resources and materials provided
• Grade-appropriate curriculum guide provided.
• Twenty-four hours staff development credit letter provided, including 3 hours of Technology.
Maximum: 45 participants
LUNCH AND REFRESHMENTS WILL BE SERVED.
PARTICIPANTS MAY ATTEND ONE MULTI-DAY WORKSHOP EACH SUMMER.
