Heifer International, Economics Arkansas and the Little Rock Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis have joined forces to "pass on the gift" of economic and financial literacy lessons for teachers of grades 6 through 9. This workshop focuses on consumer awareness and how decisions consumers make affect the global economy.Engaging in hands-on, small group activities, teachers will explore the economic impacts of Heifer International's community development efforts. Curriculum lessons from Heifer International, the St. Louis Fed and Economics Arkansas will be demonstrated and given to workshop participants.
