Hutchinsons, Waltons to Host "Bacon + Eggonomics" Event Supporting Economic Education in Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK – Economics Arkansas is excited to announce its upcoming fundraising event, Bacon + Eggonomics, set to take place on May 23, 2024, at The Apollo on Emma in Springdale, Arkansas, from 8:00-9:30 a.m.
Bacon + Eggonomics promises to be a unique event combining a delicious breakfast with insightful discussions on current economic happenings. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a hearty breakfast while hearing from an esteemed speaker in the fields of finance and economics.
The event’s keynote speaker will be Andrew Stuttaford, editor of National Review Capitol Matters, who will provide valuable insights into the latest economic trends and developments. Stuttaford will participate in a fireside chat with Dr. Brent Williams, dean of the University of Arkansas’ Sam M. Walton College of Business, delving deeper into economic topics relevant to Arkansas and beyond.
In addition to these distinguished speakers, Bacon + Eggonomics will feature a short presentation from local Springdale students, highlighting the importance of economic education in today’s world.
Former Governor and First Lady Asa and Susan Hutchinson and Jim and Lynne Walton will graciously serve as event hosts, demonstrating their commitment to supporting economic education initiatives in Arkansas.
