2022 Day of Giving
The Arkansas Council for Economic Education, now known as Economics Arkansas, was established on April 30, 1962.
We were founded by Arkansas Commissioner of Education Dr. Arch Ford to promote economic literacy in Arkansas.
Economics Arkansas will celebrate sixty years of education for real life on April 30, 2022.
Stephens Inc. has generously provided a $60,000 match gift to the Economics Arkansas Foundation to support program expansion.
Join us on our second annual Day of Giving with a donation to help meet this match goal. We hope to continue providing economic and personal finance training and resources for another sixty years!

"If we don't have an educated population in the state of Arkansas, the state of Arkansas will have a very difficult time excelling. The economic and financial literacy education that Economics Arkansas promotes and facilitates at the K-12 level throughout the state is a crucial and fundamental element of the future success of the state of Arkansas.
For this reason, continuing to support Economics Arkansas is one of the easiest decisions that I can make."
- Perry Wilson, Board Member, Immediate Past-Chair
"Through Economics Arkansas grants my students have been able to implement wonderful learning experiences and impact hundreds of other students, parents and community members."
- Allyson Goodin, Jonesboro Public Schools
"Economics Arkansas makes teaching economics easy. It's helped me become more comfortable with the topics. They provide great resources like the curriculum guides, LiveBinders, and picture books to help enrich my lessons. I'm glad I took the leap and attended their professional developments. I've never looked back!
